About Original Northwood
Original Northwood is a northeast Baltimore neighborhood next to Morgan State University, with brick colonials, duplexes and rowhome apartments on curving, tree-lined streets.
Hillen Road, Loch Raven Boulevard and The Alameda carry bus service across north Baltimore, and the shops along The Alameda and Northwood Commons are nearby.
Renting in Original Northwood with a voucher
Caprate accepts Housing Choice Vouchers (Section 8), including vouchers from the Housing Authority of Baltimore City, and HUD-VASH vouchers, with no extra fees for voucher holders. Every home is renovated, and we work directly with case managers and placing agencies. Read the voucher holder's guide, or see how we work with Section 8 and HUD-VASH.
