Walbrook sits in west Baltimore around Walbrook Junction, where North Avenue meets Windsor Mill Road and Garrison Boulevard. The neighborhood is made up mostly of brick rowhomes and small apartment buildings.
Coppin State University is close by on North Avenue, and the Mondawmin Metro Subway station and North Avenue bus lines connect Walbrook to downtown and the rest of the city.
